1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using the ENID Weather website, Android application, or any associated software (collectively, the “Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree to all terms, you may not access or use the Service.
ENID Weather aggregates and displays data, imaging radars, alerts, and forecasts provided by the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA), the National Weather Service (NWS), and other government agencies. ENID Weather is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or an official representative of the U.S. Government, NOAA, or NWS. We make no warranties regarding the uninterrupted availability, latency, or absolute accuracy of government data feeds.
Storm chasing and tracking severe weather environments are inherently dangerous activities that carry significant risk of property damage, personal injury, and death. The “Storm Chasing Mode” and telemetry data provided by ENID Weather are for informational and database logging purposes only. You assume 100% of the risk for your physical movements, driving decisions, and field operations. Never enter hazardous weather zones without proper training and equipment.
The ENID Weather “Emergency Button” is a supplementary convenience and visual signaling tool. IT IS NOT A REPLACEMENT FOR OFFICIAL 911 EMERGENCY SERVICES OR DEDICATED PERSONAL LOCATOR BEACONS (PLBs).
- The Emergency Button requires an active cellular network connection, Wi-Fi data, and/or functional GPS hardware to retrieve location data and physical addresses.
- In areas with degraded cellular tower connectivity—common during severe storms or rural storm chasing—the feature may fail to load address data or execute calls.
- ENID Weather and Plaza Developments assume no liability for the failure, inaccuracy, or delay of the Emergency Button during a life-safety event.
When logging information, storm data, or media into the ENID Weather database, you grant ENID Weather a non-exclusive, royalty-free, perpetual license to store, analyze, display, and distribute your submitted environmental data for meteorological insight and system operations.
We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any aspect of the Web version, Android app, or planned Mobile Data Terminal (MDT) software at any time without prior notice.
